Moffitt Cancer Center added to Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg Family of Partners featuring M

Moffitt Cancer Center, a Tampa-based nonprofit cancer hospital and research institute, has signed on as an official partner of the 2017 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, which runs March 10-12 through the streets of downtown St. Petersburg.

Through the multiyear agreement, Moffitt becomes the title sponsor of Victory Circle. The stage and location of all pre-race ceremonies and champagne celebrations throughout the weekend will feature a prominent Moffitt presence including branding and Moffitt VIP guests.

Moffitt is ranked No. 6 on U.S. News & World Report's Best Hospitals for Cancer rankings. In March 2015, Moffitt earned the prestigious nursing Magnet designation recognizing its nursing excellence. Serving patients from all 50 states and more than 130 countries, Moffitt boasts patient outcomes that beat the national average. Moffitt is one of 47 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers and the only one based in Florida.

As an official event partner, Moffitt will also provide onsite fan activation opportunities including the Moffitt Mole Patrol with the goal of promoting skin cancer education and awareness, further complimented by signage on the race track and throughout the venue.
