Team Owner/Driver – Ricardo Gonzalez

"There has been a lot of work from so many different people to get to where we are right now. Every minute that leads up to the race has been dedicated to making the 6 Hours of Mexico a success for the fans, the championship, and our team.

Bruno, Filipe, and I have been working very hard with the team to ensure we are in the right position to make it to the podium in front of the Mexican crowd. I'm very much looking forward to taking everything in after the checkered flag on Saturday."

Driver – Bruno Senna

“Well the weekend has begun here, and it’s the first time for us and everyone else in Mexico. The conditions now are very different than what is forecasted for the race, so these first couple of sessions will be all about getting a feel for the car and testing a few different things to make sure we are as ready as possible.

I’m looking forward to it, so bring on the challenge! I have confidence we will be starting strong and going for a spot on the podium.”

Driver – Filipe Albuquerque

“We are finally here in Mexico City for our home race! Everything is looking nice with great facilities and everyone working really hard.

I just did my first laps around the track and I feel like I’m in a street course because you have walls after every corner, which makes the adrenaline run higher. I can definitely feel a lack of power due to the altitude, but other than that I had a good feeling in the car and Bruno did a good job as well. So, all is good and looking forward to the race!”

Sporting Director – Toni Calderon

“It’s great to finally get this event started and get on track here in Mexico. We’ve been planning this for over a year and a half as promoters and also as a team. The whole reason of RGR Sport’s existence is to race here. Being able to finally do some laps in front of the Mexican fans is great.

From now on, we approach the race just like any other with the goal of winning and continue adding points to the championship standings."
