RGR Sport by Morand has been waiting for this moment. After months of preparation, the #43 Ligier JS P2 is ready to take to the twists and turns of the historic Silverstone Circuit, in the United Kingdom, for the first race of the FIA World Endurance Championship 2016 season.

Team Owner/Driver Ricardo Gonzalez

"This is my first race as a team owner and as a driver. I'm not feeling the pressure much right now because I have a great professional team of people behind me in this effort. At this moment I will only focus on driving and whatever I have to do as a driver. We will see how the weekend goes and how my two responsibilities play out, but I'm everything is going smoothly."

Driver Bruno Senna

"I've been looking forward to this weekend because it is finally the first race weekend of the season. I think everyone is just as excited as me because so much work has been done, and still so much work to do. Silverstone, being Silverstone, the weather is always a surprise. We will have to work with the weather, but I'm very confident we will do a good job this weekend."

Driver Filipe Albuquerque

"I'm really looking forward to the start of Silverstone and the World Endurance Championship since this is my first time competing in the full season. The team is looking good with good teammates and a good car, so we have all the ingredients to achieve success. Silverstone is such a nice track, but of course it will be tricky with the weather. This is just part of the game so I'm looking forward to it."
