The "Tricky Triangle" of Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA is just that: tricky. Each turn is designed to mimic a turn from three of the most famous oval tracks ever to host Indycar events. Turn 1 is 14-degrees and designed after the now closed Trenton, NJ track that hosted so many great races through the 1950, 60s, and 70s. Turn 2 is 9-degrees, and other than the bump over the tunnel, is similar to the four corners of the great Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Finally, Turn 3 is nearly flat at 6-degrees like the sweeping corners at the Milwaukee Mile. Pocono is the last oval and final 500-mile race of the 2015 season. The other two 500-mile events, Indianapolis and California Speedway, were two of the most exciting Verizon IndyCar Series races in history, and Pocono could tend to be just as exciting... Gabby Chaves and the whole BHA team are excited to return to Pocono Raceway. Chaves won the Indy Lights race there last year, and is confident the team's strong setups at both other super speedways will transfer to The Tricky Triangle. Gabby Chaves on the ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway: “I'm looking forward to get back in action in our #98 Bowers & Wilkins Castrol EDGE Honda after a nice break. Pocono is a track I've run on and won last year in Indy lights so I am looking forward to race there in an Indycar, and keep pushing myself and the team to our best finishes as we wrap up this season" The weather looks excellent for the weekend: low 80's for high temperatures and partly cloudy on both Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the Verizon IndyCar Series, there will be a SVRA vintage car meet. The present meets the past for one of the most exciting and defining races of the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series season.
