Hey everyone, for those that have followed my journey, Plugged2Racing.com is where my blog will be posted from now on and for those that have not heard of me, this post will be our introduction.

For my first post on here I plan to give an introduction of myself, my racing career so far and some of the things you can expect from future blogs. I was born in England with dual citizenship but spent most of my life living in the US. While growing up I played the usual stick and ball sports and when I was 13 I had to take sometime away from sports to have open heart surgery. As an active individual it was difficult to not compete in anything until I recovered but looking back at it that was a moment that built some of my characteristics. After high school I went to college first to earn a degree in Design engineering. Being a fan of motorsports I decided to go to Skip Barber Race School in 2003 and see if I had what it took to drive a race car. After two weeks in the school I received my competitors license and decided to pursue racing as a career.

My first race was in the Skip Barber series at Laguna Seca as I wanted to just focus on my driving and not setups this early in my career. This being my first ever race I was informed by many drivers that my goal should be to finish the race and I did just that, finishing 8th and earning top Rookie honors. From there I raced in the Skip Barber Series and then did some testing in a Panoz GTR and enjoyed the challenges of sports car racing. During this time I met Randy Koch who owned multiple Late Model stock cars and a racing school. Randy invited me to drive his equipment for the final four Late Model races in the Competitive Edge Late Model series. I picked up my first ever win and then a few weeks late collected my second win. I was approached about a Test of the Best competition that the winner receives a full year sponsorship in the C.E.L.S. I decided to compete and focus on stock car racing and learn this discipline of racing. In 2005 I went on to win the Test of the Best Competition and then went on to win the Series Championship. Over the past decade I have raced in Late models( both asphalt and dirt), Super Trucks, Sports Cars and Karts picking up 40+ wins and 5 more championships.

For my 2015 race season I have been racing in karts and will be racing late models and sports cars as well. My updated race schedule is on my website rogeregan.com and you can interact with me on social media too. For my future posts there will be a heavy dose of racing both mine and what is happening in the industry plus other things that I have interests in such as gadgets. I am beta testing a new tablet by Jide Technologies with their new Remix OS and so far I have been impressed and wrote this post on it. If there is anything you would like me to write about or have questions feel free to contact me on my website, Cyber Dust, Twitter or Facebook.
