The Angie's List Grand Prix of Indy started with a great opportunity for the #98 team: avoiding the first corner crash and moving up from 16th to 9th. Gabby Chaves and the Angie's List team looked poised for a solid top ten finish through the first half of the race, running a strong 8th, and even leading a lap as pit stops cycled among the leaders. The third stint of the race saw the #98 Angie's List car stuck in a fight with another car, costing a great deal of time. On the third and final stop of the race, the team switched back to the alternate "Red" (faster) tire; however, lost significant grip the final ten laps of the race as the tires wore off halting a late charge. Chaves finished fifteenth. Gabby Chaves Quote on Angie's List GP of Indy: "The Angie's List car was really good the first half of the race and were able to keep pace with the lead pack. We got stuck behind the #4 car for quite a while, and that cost us a lot of time before switching to the black tires. We struggled to find the pace on the primary tire before going back to our pace on the alternate tire. We keep improving every weekend: we ran strong, and had a great time representing Angie's List in their race!"
