Dane Cameron Getting a Jump Start on the Detroit Grand Prix

After posting the fastest lap and a third consecutive top-5 finish last week on the streets of Long Beach, Dane Cameron is heading straight to the Motor City to kickoff the Detroit Grand Prix.
Cameron, driver of the NO. 31 Whelen/Team Fox Chevrolet Corvette DP for Action Express Racing will take part in the Detroit Grand Prix Volunteer Kickoff Party on Wednesday night, where he will meet with nearly 500 volunteers who will surely make this year's race on picturesque Belle Isle, the best yet.
On Thursday, Cameron will make his rounds with the Detroit media starting with Paul W Smith on WJR Radio 760 AM at 6:20 a.m. Cameron will then head over to Belle Isle where he will give Fox 2 News and WXYZ ABC 20 a first hand experience in a Detroit Grand Prix-branded Corvette C7.
From Belle Isle it's off to Windsor, Ontario, for a press conference with the local media where Cameron will be joined by Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens to discuss the Detroit Grand Prix.
After visiting with Mayor Dilkens, its back to Detroit and out to the ballgame, where Cameron will preview the game between the Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees, as well as, the Detroit Grand Prix live on Fox Sports Detroit at 12:30 p.m. ET.
After the pre-game show, its time for Cameron to lace up his cleats and take to the diamond where he will trade a Whelen Engineering Bell Helmet designed and customized exclusively by Pro Cal for a Detroit Tigers jersey with a member of the team.
Cameron will get the game started by firing off the ceremonial opening fastball and then enjoy the afternoon classic with guests and partners of the Detroit Grand Prix.
