Finally, it's here: the opening race of 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series! The long off-season has been full of changes for the BHA team beginning with the signing of reigning Indy Lights Champion Gabby Chaves, followed by Bowers & Wilkins and Castrol expanding and returning as team sponsors, and finally testing of the long awaited IndyCar Aero Kits... After a very inspiring two day test at NOLA Motorsports track in New Orleans, LA the BHA team traveled straight to St. Petersburg to prepare for the season opening event. Everyone on the team is excited to kickoff the 2015 season with a solid performance on-track and in the pits. Gabby Chaves: “We have been making progress every time we get on track and I expect nothing less heading into the race weekend. It is an incredible opportunity that I have here and I will do all I can to get the results we want and deserve. It will be a steep learning curve for me as a rookie but I have a great team around me that will help me with that process. I have complete confidence in them to get us to our true potential.” Bryan Herta: “It’s difficult to make too many predictions going into the St. Pete race. This will be Gabby’s first race in the Verizon IndyCar Series and the first with the Honda aerokit; but a finish it certainly the first goal. If we achieve that, I have no doubt it will be a strong result. Bowers and Wilkins has become our primary sponsor for this season, so we would like nothing more than to welcome them back to IndyCar with a great event.”
